migratory birds) at offshore wind farms. The base deterministic
model is derived from Band (2012)
&lt;https://tethys.pnnl.gov/publications/using-collision-risk-model-assess-bird-collision-risks-offshore-wind-farms&gt;.
This was further expanded on by Masden (2015)
&lt;doi:10.7489/1659-1&gt;, with code heavily derived from this work
and input from Dr A. Cook at the British Trust for Ornithology.
These collision risk models are useful for marine
ornithologists working in the offshore wind industry,
particularly in UK waters. Many of the species included in the
stochastic collision risk models can also be found in the North
Atlantic, including the United States and Canada.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/marinescotlandscience/actions/runs/38407235045</link><pubDate>Fri, 28 Nov 2025 16:10:28 GMT</pubDate><r:package>stochLAB</r:package><r:version>1.1.4</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://marinescotlandscience.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/marinescotlandscience/stochlab</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>Running_stochLAB.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>Running_stochLAB.html</r:filename><r:title>Running stochLAB</r:title><r:created>2022-02-24 09:52:38</r:created><r:modified>2025-07-11 15:20:14</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
